Welcome to the Krazy Crafting Crew's
February Blog Hop
This month we are working with Sketches and
we have 2 hosts. Lissa Marie and co-host Card Monkey's Paper Jungle,
You should have arrived here from Scrappin With Z
if not head to Lissa Marie's blog www.somanycrafts.com to make sure you
don't miss anything.
We had an option of a layout sketch or a card sketch
Here is the sketch I chose to use for my creation
Provided by Lissa Marie

And here is what I made:
Contrary me took the layout sketch & turned it into a card.
I really liked both sketch options & if time had permitted (me & my 3 kiddos were sick this week!) I would have liked to do more with both sketches.
I used MME paper & sentiment. The striped ribbon is CTMH & the blue ribbon & embellishments came from a little Recollections kit.
If you've never worked with sketches, you might be surprised. I've actually really gotten into them. I like that I can do exactly what is suggested or run with it.
They can be a great starting point and help the creativity start to flow.
Thanks for hopping with this Krazy Crew today.
There are a few giveaways,
the main ones being from Lissa's blog & Scrapbook Stamp Society.
Your next stop is

i love your card. its very pretty. I'm a new follower and a follower of addicted to stamps also.http://jackrabbitscrappin.blogspot.com/
Well, little "contrary me", you did a very nice job of interpreting Lissa Marie's layout sketch into a card. Isn't that one of the greatest things about sketches -- you can use them in whatever way you'd like, following them closely or using them as inspiration. Lovely! Thank you for joining in on the Sketch Challenge Blog Hop!
Fondly,

Just gorgeous. I really like the lace you used. Lace isn't something I ever turn to, but I wish I had some in my stash because I can see how beautiful it makes a project!
very pretty! Love the lace!
