Utilizing Wall Space

What would crafting be without storage?
I'm not sure & I don't want to find out.
It's hard to believe that once upon a time all my scrapbook goodies fit into a little box. Then I expanded to a large storage tote, then a little desk, a bigger desk and finally a whole room!
My room is currently bursting at the seams but I'm in denial that it might be time to purge.

I have always loved wall storage. Anything I can get off a surface and use the wall space is welcome.
I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite storage pieces currently up on my walls.

My top favorite right now is my re-purposed crate into Washi Tape storage.
The yellow & red already coordinated perfect with my room. I added a ribbon & it's the perfect Washi tape storage. Ok so I have to give credit to my hubby who I stole the crate from and he hung it! LOL

With a coupon in hand I purchased my Embellishment center from M's a while back. I've moved it around & changed what I store in it, but it's a must have for any crafter!
In fact it's the product highlight today at Craft Storage Ideas

Have you thought about turning your layouts into wall art?
When I create a favorite layout and want to admire it before it gets tucked into an album, I put it on display!
These are record album frames from M's that hold 12x12 pages perfectly.

I have lots more wall storage and a couple in the works that I can't wait to share with you!
So stay tuned for more...

Decorative Letter Etsy Order!

Last week had me getting crafty with my first Etsy order!
I was so excited when it came thru & even more thrilled to have shipped it.

Decorate Letter "F"

This is a 12" decorative letter that I fancied all up for a customer's wedding! She placed an order with a few changes to the one listed in my Etsy store and this is what I made for her!

Here's a close up of the burlap flower.

I can't wait to see a picture of it from the wedding!

If you would like to place an order or see my other Etsy creations check out my store!

Miss Independent LO & KCC Blog Hop

Welcome to KCC's
banners-copy

Banners are all the craze right now (and a personal favorite of mine!)

So this month the Krazy Crafting Crew is going to show you all different kinds of banners they have made for fresh ideas, maybe birthdays, weddings and more.
Our hostess today is Liz from

Tryin2Craft

If you have stumbled upon the hop and would like to start from the beginning we have the full line up below to help you navigate through.
So let's get started...

Miss Independent layout

I have lots of banner projects but I wanted to share this layout.

I may redo the title to somehow make it stand out a little more. This is my "Miss Independent". I love these pics & wanted bring out the country chic feel of the pics in the layout. I used Miss Caroline paper from MME. My favorite thing (other than the little Miss of course!) are the banners!

I cut circles and scalloped circles with the AP cartridge. I then folded them in half & stamped with a MME stamp. I then went a little crazy and using my tiny hole punch created a lacy feel to accent the stamp.

Did you notice all the stitching?
I was on a retreat and a friend brought her sewing machine! oh boy did I go to town. I loved it and even dared to stitch right on my pictures. Now I keep hinting to my hubby what I want for our anniversary!

I hope you have enjoyed my bannerific layout!

Fancy Fold Card blog hop!

Welcome to the Scraps to Treasure’s Blog Hop.
Fancy Fold Cards is the theme today,
How fun and different then the ordinary card,
this is the fancy fold I chose to make to inspire you!

I used scraps from a CTMH kit to make this fancy fold card!

The style I chose to make was a Shutter Fold card. I love how these open up.

I used my "Sunshine Emma" stamp from SMP, which includes the sentiment, the clouds & the sun (ghost stamped).
I love these stamps! The button is also from SMP & part of the "In Color" collection.

Speaking of my Sun, the rays are washi tape. Super Cute!

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope you have enjoyed my project today, enough to leave a little love through commenting.

Family Mini Album Blog Hop!

Welcome to the...
minialbumhop

This is my Mini Album........

This one is all about our Family.

I used coordinating paper, stamps, lots of family quotes and matching embellishments.
I turned all the pics black & white and inked lots of edges!

I love how this album turned out & all the memories that are brought back when looking thru it.
Word albums always look great but take so much work, probably the reason I don't do them very often.

I actually did this album a few years ago, pre-kids.
Maybe it's time to do an updated Family album!
Not sure if I can keep it mini though.

Thank you for taking the time out to check out my projects, I'd love for you to follow my blog!

KCC Fridge Magnets blog hop!

Welcome to...

I'm super excited to be hosting this hop!
I realized April was my first ever blog hop last year and it was with KCC!
I also have magnets on my "to do" list of things to create so this was great motivation & hopefully more inspiration for things to come!
...
This month the Krazy Crafting Crew has gotten together and made inspiring refrigerator magnets! Spring clean means spring décor to me!
We all hope you find a little inspiration along the way today
Magnets can be done so many different ways… the sky is the limit!

So clean off that fridge (don't panic I didn't say clean out!) and get ready for some great inspiration!

I made these personalized magnets for a dear friend.

I had a stash of flat-backed clear stones. I cut circles out of patterned paper, stamped the initials & sentiment. Stuck it all together with MP. After it dried I hot glued the magnets to the backs.

As you can see the magnets do stick out some.
(no I don't have a Superman fridge!)

The paper was a stack from Theresa Collins and the initial stamps are from the Big Build a Banner set at SP&C! This is my second stamp set from Sami & they stamp so clean, I love them! The sentiment is from MME (and didn't stamp nearly as clean).

I love my magnets!
now I'll have to make some of my own LOL.

your next kitchen is at Anita's!
Thanks so much for hopping with us!
Here is your line up of kitchen (if only they were serving breakfast!)…..

Spring Blossoms Blog Hop Flower Card!

Welcome to the Spring Blossoms blog hop!

Spring is my absolute favorite season & this year I'm so ready. I've been cooped up in the house with 3 little ones climbing the walls & I'm about to join them. I'm ready for some warmer weather for fun outside & of course flowers. My little girl had taken a liking to picking flowers so I'll have to keep a close eye on her!

If you would like to start from the beginning, head on over to Lori of Scrappin' My Stress Away!
and smell all the beautiful flowers along the hop!

Here is my flower card!

I ripped circles, crumpled them, inked them & then layered to make a flower.
It's not my usual, but I did like the results.

All the paper is from a Prima pad.
It's so bright & cheerful, just what spring is all about!

Thanks for checking out my flower creation.
